Christina Milian has opened up about  Lil' Wayne's ongoing feud with Cash Money.

Earlier this year the rapper spoke openly about the falling out he had with his long-term record label , tweeting; "I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain't that easy."

Wayne's girlfriend Christina Milian revealed that she's struggled to watch him go through such a hard time over the last few months.

"Its like a father to him," Milian told Tim Westwood exclusively on Capital XTRA. "It's hard to watch and see him go through that... In the end, we hope for the best and for Wayne to be able to spread his wings and step up and do whatever he needs to do... You never know where life is going to lead you"

The singer, who teamed up with Lil' Wayne to record a 'Drunk In Love' remix, said that she believes the relationship is "fixable" but "they have to figure it out themselves."

Milian also went on to describe Lil' Wayne as her "best friend" and "a great confidant in life."
