Cole gives fans behind-the-scenes access.
J. Cole has released the second episode of his upcoming ‘Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming’ documentary.
In the new 40-minute clip, Cole gives fans an exclusive look at the inner workings of his team, as well as what life is like touring the world.
The rapper also breaks down his recording and producing process. “If I wrote a rap, 90 percent of the time I’m gonna use it,” said Cole.
“I got thousands of beats that will never ever be heard or used.”

While on tour, Cole visits his former university St. John’s, where he admits he never received his diploma because of an unpaid library debt.
He also bumps into a fan from Shanghai, while in Switzerland.
“I never even knew about nobody in Shanghai knowing my s**t,” says Cole.
There are also brief appearances from Pusha T and Jhene Aiko who joined him on the European leg of his tour.
J. Cole plans to release 3 more episodes, leading up to the full ‘Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming' documentary on HBO on 9th January.
Each episode will be viewable until 9th January.
