Could this finally be the release date?

Frank Ocean’s long-awaited new album ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ is set for release this Friday (5th August), according to reports.

A source at The New York Times claims the project, which was first announced in July 2015, will be an Apple Music exclusive for “two weeks before becoming more widely available”.

The album also rumoured to be accompanied by a video and a magazine, which will be sold at Apple Music stores.

Ocean initially sparked excitement about his new album this week when he launched a mysterious live stream on his website, hosted by Apple Music.

Music video director Francis Soriano claimed the stream was actually a looped video he made for the singer, before deleting his post on social media.

Frank Ocean’s new album ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ will be his first since 2012’s Grammy-winning LP ‘Channel Orange’.
