Drake has released a diss song called “Charged Up” in response to Meek Mill’s recent accusations that he doesn’t write his own lyrics.

After Meek’s epic Twitter rant last week, Drizzy finally responded to the controversy during his OVO Sound Radio show on Saturday.

The Canadian rapper doesn’t directly mention Meek in the song but clearly aims the lyrics at him.

“I stay silent cause we’re at war and I’m very patient/ 6 God is watching/ I just hope you’re prepared to face him/ I’m charged up,” Drake warns on the mellow track.

He also addresses Meek’s claims that Quentin Miller ghostwrote his verse on a number of tracks including R.I.C.O.

(“I’m honoured that you think this is staged, I’m flattered, man/ In fact, I’m amazed… You boys are getting into your feelings on me/ You should embrace it/ This could be one of our realist moments.”)

The OVO frontman even brings Meek’s girl Nicki Minaj into the beef rapping, “No woman ever had me starstruck or was able to force me to get my bars up.”

After “Charged Up” premiered, Meek Mill hit back on Twitter, writing “Baby lotion soft...I can tell he wrote that one tho.”
