Watch the moment Drake reveal what date we can finally expect Lil Wayne's album to drop.

After teasing us with a tweet that said nothing other than 'Carter V' last week, some solid news has finally dropped on what's happening with Lil Wayne's forthcoming album.

Drizzy was joined on stage by Lil Wayne during a NBA party performance in New Orleans and used the opportunity to reveal that the album's release date will be May 5th 2014.

The Toronto rapper said: "If you want to hear Lil Wayne at his best, if you wanna hear Young Money at they best… Carter V, May 5."

The label mates have also been busy working on Young Money's forthcoming compilation album 'Young Money: Rise Of An Empire,' for which the artwork has been revealed. Lil Wayne features on the first single from the album, teaming up with Birdman and Euro for 'We Alright.'
