Cardi beat off competition from her rumoured rival Nicki Minaj and viral sensation Bhad Bhabie.

Unfortunately Cardi B wasn’t at the Las Vegas ceremony to accept the award.

However the pregnant 25-year-old watched from home as Jennifer Lopez and DJ Khaled performed their new Cardi B collaboration ‘Dinero’.

She was also nominated for Top Rap Song, Top New Artist, and the fan-voted Billboard Chart Achievement but lost out in all three categories.

The New York rapper recently released her debut album ‘Invasion Of Privacy’ in April 2018, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

In 2017, Drake picked up a record 13 awards – winning trophies for Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Song Sales Artist, Top Streaming Songs Artist, and Top Rap Artist.
