Humble Kendrick Lamar
Beyoncé's bringing her Mrs Carter World Tour back to the UK this week after adding some extra, and unexpected, UK dates. An entire new album has dropped since she last performed the tour, so what can we expect this time round?
Beyoncé's Mrs Carter World Tour was suppose to end last year, before she dropped her surprise self-titled fifth album, so she never performed any of her new material on it. But we can't imagine that Bey will hit the stage without performing her most recent stuff, including XO and Partition. Picture: Getty
There's nothing like a surprise guest at a live-concert. There are some strong collaboration contenders on the Beyoncé album, imagine if Drake joined her to perform Mine or Frank Ocean sang their work Superpower together. We expect Beyoncé to get it done!
There are countless pictures doing the rounds of Beyoncé sharing the mic with an unsuspecting (and usually hysterical) fan, asking them to sing along with her. But her hubby went one up when he invited a 12-year-old to the stage on his Magna Carta World Tour for a chance to freestyle. Come on Bey, you see where this is going. Get a girl up on stage Single Ladies style… Picture: Tumblr/i.am.Beyonce
First it was long, then it was short, and then it was long again. Her hair is the only way to distinguish between the over 100 concerts Beyoncé performed in 2013. Lets see if 2014 sees a brand new 'do debuted. Picture: Tumblr/i.am.Beyonce
Possibly the most shared Beyoncé photograph in 2013, this girl was the luckiest fan at the concert because she pulled her phone out, Beyoncé knelt down for a selfie. And who wouldn't want a selfie with Beyoncé? More Beyoncé/ fan selfies this year please! Picture: Twitter
When Beyoncé and Jay Z shared the stage at the Grammys to perform Drunk In Love, their steamy performance stole the stage. Not one to repeat a surprise, we think Bey will either strip back her Drunk In Love performance, or one of the four artists that remixed the tune over the weekend will join her on stage to perform it – most likely Kanye West or The Weeknd (it was good timing those remixes dropping a week before Bey lands in the UK, wasn't it?)
Things can't always go to plan, not even for Beyoncé. We all remember the incidents that occurred on last year's tour - like the time her hair got caught in a fan mid-song. Or the time a fan practically wrestled her to the ground. No doubt, when she's back in the UK, there will be another mishap that no one saw coming.
In fact, if you're heading to the Mrs Carter World Tour, this is something you'll definitely see. It's recently been announced that French Monsieur Adi, a French musician and producer, will be travelling to Glasgow, Manchester, London and Dublin to open up the shows. If you've not heard of him, check out his Grown Woman remix and look forward to what's sure to be a great opener.
Brothers Laurent and Larry Bourgeois, better known as 'Les Twins,' supported Beyoncé as her only two male dancers on the Mrs Carter World Tour last year – anyone that has seen them dance before will know that they're pretty special, so special, that they'd be deserving of a show themselves. You'll also catch them in Beyoncé's 'Blow' video. Picture: Tumblr/i.am.Beyonce
Beyoncé's known not only for her incredible voice and songs, but for putting on incredible shows, from the lighting to the choreography. If there's one thing you're guaranteed to see, it’s some serious dancing.
Found sporadically on Beyoncé's Tumblr page are photos of fans from all over the world holding up the signs they put hours in to making – most are pretty good. So when the dust settles and Bey's back in states we're hoping to see some of the art work that Beyoncé got to look at while we was performing on stage. Picture: Tumblr/i.am.Beyonce
We're probably pushing our luck hoping that there will be performances of new songs from the album AND never-before-heard material, but hey, she dropped 17 news songs and videos overnight, so Beyonce might have one or two leftover she fancies premiering in the UK Tumblr/iam.beyonce.com.
Bey's mum Tina Knowles always has her say in the outfits Beyoncé wears on tour, but also responsible for some of the sparkly ensembles you've seen are Gucci, Givenchy and Julian McDonald. As amazing as they are, we're expecting Beyoncé to pull out all the stops and have some new clothes to show off this time round. Picture: Tumblr/i.am.Beyonce
